  1. just the husband or one family member

  2. I am in Tennesse and with my scheduled C-section I was only allowed one person in there. Which of course was my hubby!

  3. It depends on the hospital and the doctor and what their policies are.  But most hospitals only allow one person to be in the operating room during a c-section, so Mom will probably have to sit this one out.

  4. It depends on the hospital. I had an emergency c-section and my boyfriend was in there. But a friend of mine was scheduled for a c-section and there were 2 people in there. Its just the hospital. Ask your doctor next time you go

  5. Only one family member is allowed to accompany you into the operating room.  It is already somewhat crowded and busy.  My first was an emergency cesarean and noone was allowed in there (I was under general anesthesia), my second cesarean was also an emergency situation but thankfully I was awake for that one and my husband was able to be in there.

You can consult your doctor about the scar.  My second incision was made over my first-I think they noramlly do it in the same area unless the scar tissue is too thick.  The baby's position and your size/shape matter as also.  Well, I am glad mine was done in the same spot because the scar looks so much better now!  They "cleaned it up" some, and it is less visible after the second incision than it was before.

  6. my C-section was an emergency one and while my husband and my sister were in the delivery room with me...only my husband was allowed in the O.R. and he could only sit on a stool next to me....so maybe each hospital has their own policies...

it also depends on the scar some doctors will go over the same scar if they can...some won't..it depends...

  7. Just one family member... sorry :(

  8. I think most hospitals only allow one person in there.  Since it's an operating room and it's already crowded with the doctors and nurses for the baby and mother they can't have loads of people in there getting in the way.  My husband was in with me and he was told to sit in a chair next to me and not get up.  I had twins so there were even more people because there was a team for each baby.  besides my husband and I there were about 20 hospital staff in there, really no room for anyone else.

  9. Like PP said depends on the hospitals regulations

  10. Here in both these hospitals, you are allowed to have 2 people. The cut the dr will make also depends on the dr. Talk to the dr about it and when you pre-register make sure you ask about how many people will be allowed. Congrats and good luck

  11. Depends on hospital policy--usually just your husband.

  12. Just one i believe
