Please set aside the Dale and Kyle show, just in general racing. I thought it was great!! A ton of 3 wide racing a lot of changing of positions except for the lead because Denny was putting a spanking on everyone and drama.

I've been impressed with the past 2 races this year and I'm hoping that the new car is starting to come around and living up to the expectations that were set for it.

  1. Race was boooring until the last 20 laps.  Hamlin led the whole way with no challenge.  Not very much action all night up front.  Hamlin doesnt blow a tire and its right next to Texas.

  2. I also thought Richmond was a good race. I wished there would have been a few more lead changes but Hamlin and his group had it going on thats for sure! Great question, its refreshing. TY!

  3. I thought Richmond was a good show even if Jimmie didn't do squat.. I couldn't believe it when Mikey Waltrip lost his temper like that..Bristol was a good one too.

  4. h***s yeah! Love Richmond!! Always have....can't wait to go someday!!

  5. I hate to admit it, but yes.

  6. The last two races were great. However I think I liked Talladega more. Hey, if it's Nascar, it's great!!!

  7. Was an awesome race even though my driver got wrecked in the end. Darlington should be just as awesome. I hope they never take that track off the circuit.

  8. I do.  It was great.  I loved it long time.

  9. I agree it was a great race ! Seeing my boy come from a lap down to a top 10 was awesome !

  10. This has been a yawner of a season overall, but this race at Richmond was packed with action. So it definatly has been one of the best 3.

  11. Ide have to say its up there. I think that the finish was the best this year but the 300 laps before the last 100 were the greatest this year. Im not implying it wasn't exciting, just not the best. But it was a very exciting race and the finish was unexpected and goes to show how if you turn for one second, you could miss a huge change in the race. Go Stewart!

  12. i would have  to say dega cuz i live a mile away. i did watch some of the race. i think! it was the best weekend that i didnt remember

  13. It was one of the two best... and the other one is Talladega :D

  14. couldn't have said it better myself!

    can't wait til next week!

  15. I think it was the race of the year so far. I was there live and the place was WILD! The finish was great. (not the outcome, but the 3 wide into turn 3.) The big wreck was wild, Hamlin was the class of the field. Busch, well is Kyle Busch. Earnhart had the race if not being wrecked. Great race all in all!

  16. i accually cheered ...imagine that lol.

  17. I can't really pick a favorite race this year but I do know that this years is way better than last year. All teams are becoming more competitive. The races are becoming unpredictable. Drivers and teams are having to work for their victories. The COT seems to be making the drivers show their skills as the teams' knowledge of the COT increases. Richmond was way cool though.

  18. Yeah, it was a d**n good race, would've been even better if Jr and Shrub could've kept that battle up until the end, but hey sh*t happens.

  19. Me! Me! Me! It was a great race and RCR won it also!

Best race of 2008 so far!!

I didn't find Talladega all that great like others thought, and maybe it was because I was seeing the race from the grandstands and I seen cars just drive by over and over again under green in which seemed like forever. The last lap was about the only excitment there.

  20. It indeed, was a good race !

This new car is... starting to grow on me also !! Nice to see them have to turn the wheel, a little to the right every now and then !!!

Talladega has impressed ME the most,so far !! [50] lead changes, among [20] or so drivers !!! THAT !! Was alot better race, then I expected .

  21. yes i'll agree it was a very exciting race, just didn't like to see My 88 wreck, he comes so close n ,notta. n to top it off not bad for 15th for his worse finish so far this year. I just hope for jr that they can let go of the past & not be a bunch of trouble makers at the race from what happend last week. Cause its a strong jr 88 nation! but im lookin forward to another saturday night race!!!     YEEHAW!!!

  22. i do it had action , drama , suspense, and it made u think there was going to be a fight , it also had emotion

  23. Richmond was wild with the controversy, but watch out for this Saturday at Darlington,,,,,,taking bets on who will take out "Shrub" Bush.......I sure as heck will be there with bells on waiting to see..should be a good race with the new surface and drama trailing in from Richmond, btw..just when is Nascar going to sit the "Shrub" and let him know the rules of sportsmanship???, Lots of respect for his brother Kurt, who btw, learned the hard way and is now a clean racer and gentleman and he even has been taken out by his brother "Shrub".........end of discussion
