  1. ten fish will fit in a 10 gallon tank.

  2. it depends on what kind of fish you want

  3. Small Fish (ex. Guppies, Danios, Small Tetras), 20 inches per tank

Medium Fish (Molly, Platy, angelfish) 10 inches

Large Fish (Plecs, Clown loach) 7 inches

  4. What sort of fish?

Adult goldfish.. None, they are too big.

White cloud minnows, at least 10.

Other species - some number in between.

    Ian

  5. 10 one per gallon

make shure u get a algae eater.

  6. I would say if they are 2 inches about 5. IF tey are 3 or 4 inches about 2 or 3 of them.

  7. 10 one inch fish or 5  two inch fish

that is if you follow the one inch of fish per gallon rule

  8. As for capacity of a fish tank, a general rule of thumb is 2 inches of fish per gallon of fresh water for tropical. For cold water fish like a goldfish it is 1 inch of fish, they require more oxygen, per gallon of water. This is just a guideline, the actual amount or total length of fish you wish to maintain is a direct effect of your willingness to maintain a stable environment. You can double those numbers if you double your filtration and stay on a consistent water changing schedule of at least 20% once a month.

Remember though that means if the filtratation system develops a problem or water gets out of balance or you expierence a prolonged power outage the fish will feel the harmful effects in a much shorter time period than a tank that is under stocked.

  9. small schoolers or guppies

  10. depends on their size. if its bigger than 10 cm, probs only about 2/3 max but if theyre like tetras (2 cm) probs about 10-15 max

  11. it depens on what kind of fish
