  1. If you mean the average number of frets, you'd have to take the number of frets from every model of guitar and divide it by the number of guitar models. I've seen everything from 17 frets to 36.

It seems really what you're asking is, what's the most common number of frets?

In the low 20's would be the most common (or popular).

  2. Most have at least 22  or 23 ( standard ) "Strat" type design guitars usually run to 23, some of the "metal" player types run to over 30 on top strings.

(VS most "acoustics" ( except some plug/  in cutaways) which have about 20, often only about 16 of which are actually playable, and that can be a stretch on some, unless you have acutaway type..)

Some  have a half cut fretboard extension on the design which takes to highest strings to around 27 or more. Heavier strings often get a "buzzy" ( frets can be worked, but..) and poor tone sound even at 12th fret, even on electrics and obviously you don't need a full fret board at those high pitches, but it can be nice to have the octave range.

I would suggest that you post in a more general area next time to avoid being harassed or "bagged" but hey shtt happens, I did this this other day, and I don't feel guilty, just silly lol

  3. 21 to 25 note: wrong section
