  1. none thank god. it's a stupid thing to do.

  2. None! My friend is anti-vegetarian and actually tries to eat more meat to make up for what I'm not eating!

  3. None. I don't convince people into becoming a vegetarian. When they ask me why I'm a vegetarian I just say "Because of the animals and health" or "I just am" because if I say what they do to the animals, and how eating meat can cause heart disease - then they think I'm trying to force them to become a vegetarian/vegan. Which I'm not..

    Proud vegan ;D

  4. none i hope

  5. well none have completely stopped, but many have reduced their intake, especially of red meat and started replacing meat meals with veggie meals....

i'd say around 6 i know for sure... and maybe they're gone off and influenced others too...

and these people, most of them, were big time meaters, so i'm pretty happy about it :)

i never pushed or forced veggie food on anyone (including my bf!) but i always cook it and am open for people trying it and bring it with me places, once they do and it tastes great and it's easy and they learn the health benefits and they think about why i do it (animals, ethics..) they want to do it too.

  6. one person in my family is a veggiterian i think its stupid if anyone can give me a reason to do it ill try it but i mean ts the cycle of life its called a food chain were on top so we eat other animals to get energy.

  7. well..i became veg when my best friend did..

she didnt push it on me or anything but i watched some horrible videos on goveg.com w/ her and i already was not eating red meat.

    since then,

    my mom

    my best guy friend

another close friend and her mom

and one friend(who has her best friend trying being veg out too!)

    so im pretty happy:]

its not like i pushed it on them or anything! but my friends and my friends parents are all like a big family and were all close..so once we told them about all the horrible things and such they all decided to give it a try!

    :]

    vegetarian for 6 months now:]

  8. 2

  9. 3!

  10. None, meat is good!

  11. Only 1!

  12. 03 (my wife & 2 kids)

  13. never have made anybody stop, never will want to make anybody stop

  14. None sadly.

I actually annoy my family and friends with my non meat eating habits, I tell them I wont eat meat if they serve it to me but they do anyway.

And they get mad because I dont eat it, go figure.

  15. None. I'm the only "black sheep" hippie in my family. And as far as friends, probably a few.

  16. I don't feel anything against vegetarians, but if i was one, or knew one, i would be upset if they forced their beliefs off on others.

If someone decides to join you, good for them, if they decide not too, so what?  The idea of forcing your beliefs off on others really annoy me, especially on children that don't know better.   They should be given the views, and a varied diet showing both sides of the food choices, and let them choose once they are old enough.

as for how many, i have 1 close friend who is a vegetarian, and she hasn't gotten anyone else to join her bandwagon yet.

  17. I lied to my friend and told him i had put my but cheeks on the hamburgers pasties so every time he comes over now he doesn't eat meat, well food period.

  18. Actually my whole family has cut back.. my moms pretty much switched to my lifestyle, but i didn't push it on them.

  19. never have, never will

  20. My husband .... to my mother-in-laws dismay. lol

  21. Four and a half. I shut up once the unhappy parents of said friends hunt me down, though...

  22. well does raising a family of veggies ( 4 boys & 2 girls) that are grown & having kids that are being raised veggies count?

  23. my sister did for 3 months when we were kids. we were having homemade deer chili. she commented on how good it was, i told her she was eating bambi.

  24. Unfortunately none...but my best friend stopped eating red meat and he's also ceasing to eat "ground" meats (like turkey and chicken).

    It's a start!!

  25. None. I have said to my sister over and over, " You know you are eating a living thing right?" She just says, " Yeah, I know". Ugh, it makes me sick.
