How many ft. or in.is a 7.5 skateboard?

well i got a skate board and im thinking my skateboard size is really big so yeah im 12 years old

5'2 or 3 and i need to know how long is a 7.5 or i need to return my skate board...

Also i have another question does your skateboard get damaged if you scrap it on the ground from doing tricks cuz i scraped it on the ground and now the image of the skateboard on the back is kinda ruined and u can c wood.....

lol Last question how do u turn ino how to kinda turn but not pressing the bak and turning. do u just stopp fron touching the ground?

A 7.5" skateboard is fairly narrow. Anything smaller would be a mini.  The average skateboard is about 31-32" long and don't vary much between widths.

The graphic will come off the board with use.  A big problem comes from dragging the tail on the ground to stop.  This is not a good idea.  Razortailing a board will cause it to lose a lot of pop and is dangerous.  Minor scrapes and scratches won;t hurt the board.  

To turn, just lean from side to side.  If you can;t do this, your trucks are too tight.  To stop, drag your back foot on the ground.  Press lightly at first, then increase pressure until you stop.
