  1. I've provided a link to the Energy Information Administration's site that discusses the yield of a 42 gallon barrel of crude oil. Average yield is approximately 19 gallons of gasoline per barrel. The actual total yield is about 44 gallons, due to cracking denser hydrocarbons into less dense ones. Keep in mind that this is for lighter crudes ideally suited to gasoline production. Heavier crudes yield less gasoline or require extensive refining.

This is an excellent site I've referenced in the past when presenting to audiences. I hope you find this information helpful.

  2. 19.6 Galloons

  3. Depending on how it is refined and what needs to be produced. Not every barrel of oil that is refined is turned in to gasoline or diesel. If they where to produce only Gasoline, you can get 150 barrels of oil out of 1 barrel. However when a refinery refines the oil they make multiple fuels out of the barrel. In some cases you may only get 1 or 2 barrels of gasoline out of a single barrel. Again it depends on how it is refined and what products are needed at the time.

  4. only about 51%
