  1. depends at the velocity the water is going

  2. It depends upon the pressure which I have seen range from 20 to 70 psi with 40 typical and the diameter of the piping/garden hose.

If you are on a well system your pressure will vary as the pump comes on and off.

Most internal piping is 1/2 " diameter but some are piped 3/4 from the main to the external hose.  Garden hose valves also come in 1/2" and 3/4" flavors.  Garden hoses may be 1/2", 5/8" or 3/4".

If you want to approximate your situation take a 5 gallon pail and fill it from the hose under the conditions you want to measure.  Time how long it takes to fill the pail and then divide 60 minutes (3600 seconds) by the amount of time it took to fill the pail.  This will give you the number of pails you could fill in an hour.  Multiply by 5 to give you the gallons per hour.
