  4. Use this formula:  Length x Width x Height (all dimensions in inches)divided by 231 = gallons

    Substitute:  48.5" x 13" x 18.625" = 11743.062 cu. in.

                                  11743.062 divided by 231 = 50.84 GALLONS

Note: There are 231 cu. in. in a gallon

  5. The tank is 11,743.0625 cubic inches which converts to about 51 gallons (US).
