  1. Helo, sam newman played exactly 300 gmaes 4 the cats and billy played 198, none one the brownlow but were both starts in the game, billy was a forward and sammy was a ruckman but was only about 190 cm, they both are on the footy show and are icons!GOOD ON EM!

  2. They both played for Geelong, and in all the games  they were selected in, I think, ..so the answer, all of them!, and the Brownlow, .....jokers don't win it, only STARS do !

  3. they both played for geelong and no none of then won the brownlow medal......

    Billy played 198 games

    Sam played 300 games

  4. **Both Billy and Sammy are Geelong boys but neither of them won a Brownlow medal.

Sam Newman was the last Geelong player to play 300 games and Billy finished his career off on 198 (I'm sure he was just short of 200).**

  5. Billy Brownless played 198 games in the VFL/AFL.

Sam Newman played 300 games in the VFL.

    Neither won a brownlow.

  6. None of them won the Brownlow, and they both played for Geelong. Newman played exactly 300 games between 1964 and 1980 and Brownless played 198 games for the Cats between 1986 and 1997.

  7. They both played for Geelong i dont no bout billy but Sam played 300 games. Champion and very funny man on the footy show.

  8. Heaps, Geelong and no.

I often wondered why they didn't change the name of The Footy Show to The Geelong Show!!!

I don't remember Sam and his kin raving about Essendon as much when they had their stellar year in 2000!!!
