  1. This would depend on the boat hauling company.  Call them, it will probably save you a bunch, and be safer in the long haul.

  2. The top two guys hit it on the head

  3. It is 369 miles (most direct route by water) and it will take you about 36 hours at a sustained average speed 10 mph...

Since you gave no information about your Renker Power Boat, this is all the accurate information I can give you... You will have to figure the rest based on your boats fuel consumption rate per hour and the size of your fuel tanks.

  4. If you have a Renker boat and are considering a cruise from San Fran to Marina Del ray, I'd have to conclude you have a cruiser.  Maybe a single or twin Volvo V-8.  On most of these boats you'd have fuel capacity for between 300 and 400 miles at a cruse throttle of about 22-25 mph.  So I'd think you'd need one fuel stop, just to be safe.  It's about 400 miles.  That's a very nice trip, some of the best boating on the west coast.  Good luck!

  5. I think You need to know more about boats before you ask such a stupid question. What speed will you maneuver? How many gallons per hour? What are the sea ways you wish to travel? Shipping channels or out side of them, perhaps coastal. Oh, what about the seas? wind-age? currents? HIGH SEAS!!!  Boy, what question. I hope some one can answer it.

  6. You should know your fuel capacity.

If you don't, you shouldn't go.

You should know your fuel consumption rate.

If you don't, you shouldn't go.

If you know the above, consult your charts.

If you can't do that or don't have charts you shouldn't go.
