i don't know if you mean the landing gears or the transmission gearbox. if u mean the landing gears so your answer is that the aircraft has 3 landing gears distributed as following, 2 main gears each one fitted under each wing, and 1 nose or tail landing gear depending on aircraft configuration..

if you mean the transmission gearbox so your answer is that each engine has on gearbox transfer the variable RPM (Revolution Per Minute) into constant RPM to operate some parts such as hydraulic pump, oil pump, electric generater which are fitted on it
