  2. It depends: what do you call a genius?

    There are bright and smart people and geniuses.

    My definition of genius is an outstanding contribution to Science.

    There are no more than 40 real genius in physics since Galileo.

    In mathematics and physics, there is the Bernoulli family, but they are not part of my 40.

    Great geniuses do not have children or very few:

    Newton: none

    Pascal: none

    and so on.

    Compared to the number of geniuses, family traits do not count or have no effect.

    Answer: none.

  3. It's hard to tell, since their fame depends on what they do with their intelligence.  Some of the basic mental equipment is genetically determined.  But if it's not developed, it could look quite ordinary.
