  1. not really any. i dont think it works like that.

  2. I'm not particularly keen on drawing comparisons between the human brain and a computer, but there's been literature which has attempted to "quantify" the amount of storage that the human brain is capable of.  It's terribly controversial and pretty much each study seems to come up with varying results.  I'm of the opinion that it's really not feasible to even draw a comparison between human cognition and computers, but here's what I have seen, I don't have the source citations available and I personally have my doubts as to the validity of this data, but here goes:

There are about 100 billion neurons in the brain, each potentially capable of forming synapses with every other neuron.  Estimates have suggestted that this would translate into anywhere from 12.5 terabytes of storage anywhere up to 1.25 million terabytes.

I personally don't find this to be of much clinical relevance and find it awfully simplistic/humorous  to draw a connection between the human brain (which we really don't understand all that well, on a gross level, anyhow) and a computer hard drive.

  3. There are several different storage methods for the human brain.  Scientists havnt discovered all the storage places.

  4. LOL

This is the best question I've seen all day.

But I don't have an answer.

  5. None.  It's not a computer.

  6. never heard of gigabites in your brain, just in computers to store memory
