Have got pregnant whilst being on the mini pill???

Just very curious as my friend has just found out she is pregnant and she is on cerazette the mini pill, has this ever happened to you and if so was it because you forgot any or wasnt takin them right?????

Not me personally, but my mum did.

She never missed it and always took it on time.  Then she got pregnant with me :]

Because she was so cautious taking the pill she refused to believe she was pregnant.  My dad kept saying 'You're pregnant, face it' but she didn't agree until she was three months gone.  She was happy, just a bit shocked really.

After that she got a tubes tied!!  I was her fifth baby.

No form of bith control is 100% except for not having s*x!  My mums cousin got pregnant after she got her tubes tied!  Crazy stuff really.

There is a chance of getting pregnant at any time unless you have had your womb or ovaries removed. Of course she could be pregnant on the pill, even if she was taking them right. That's why nothing EVER says it's 100% effective as contraception

But remember, no single form of contraception is 100% effective. People do fall pregnant even while taking the pill correctly.

You can def get pregnant while taking the mini pill. Loads of my friends have caught while on it. In most cases is it most probably because they've forgotten one or have been ill and that effects. But one of the girls said they did it by the book and still got pregnant!

Hi, I know a few people that have gotten pregnant whilst on the pill, I personally havent though.

Usually it is because they are not takin it properly. But 1-3 out of every 100 will get pregnant on the pill.

This can sometimes be due to sickness. If a woman throws up whilst on the pill she should refrain from having unprotected s*x for a week.
