I need to know in which events the US has won gold medals. If the win involves a team effort, I don't need to know how many members were on the team, just if they got the gold in that event.

make an effort, do some research, take the time  to look and you will find (maybe anyway) the official olympic site with pages that will give you all this info, updated promptly... you found this site so surely... ah maybe I will take pity on you.... here.... on a platter....

of course the official site may be a bit shocking to some USA citizens, showing, as it does, China in no1....
