  1. If the temperature in the pond stays around 68-72 degrees, you should be able to put three or four common/comet goldfish. I'd go with shubunkins or sarasa comets. They are very pretty fish. The shubunkins get slightly smaller than regular goldfish but have longer fins. Or a few nice koi.

If the temperature is higher than that, I would only put two or three fish in the pond. Colder water holds more oxygen for a longer period of time so you can have a few more fish, but not many.

    =]

  2. The number of inches your fish are, the number you should put that adds up to the number of gallons. So, if you have a 60 gallon, put 60 inches of fish, or less, depends if you want more p**p.

  3. i would say maybe about 30 fish. don't put more than that because if you do the space can be too crowded and they will begin to die from lack of space, and for goldfish, i would say no mor ethan maybe 20

  4. bout 10 to 15 if you put to many they will take up too much oxygen  and many will die...

  5. yes

    for nonfancy goldfish about  2-3

shubunkin and koi grow about 12 inches

  6. The rule of thumb is 1 medium sized goldfish per square foot. Depth doesn't count.

  7. 2 commons/comets/feeders

    4 fancys

  8. 4-5 goldfish would be perfect for this pond (no koi as pond isn't large enough) regular or fancy, whatever kind you would like

and contrary to most others advice, I've had ponds for 30 yrs and I've never had a goldfish get to 12", most only get 6-8" long

    good luck
