10 per galloon . 26 , what most will tell u, what i got by in mine is 26

for fancy goldies:  24 MAX pref less

for common/ commet goldies: 5 MAX

less is best, in all honesty i think that 7 fancys or 5 comons would be best... no more. well good luck!=]

11 commons or 26 fancies, but fancies do not do well in ponds. You could always have 1 BIG koi!

Edit:The reason I say 11 commons is b/c the rule is 2 commons/comets every 50 gallons, and that is about the right number, the reason I say 26 fancies(Max) Is cuz 10 gallons each!
