How many have worked your azz off to get ahead have had the return a little different than you expected?

Good question.

I don't have a good answer except to mention that getting ahead,

for me,

was never about getting ahead of other people.

So getting ahead turned out different than I expected because I did not know what to expect ahead.

Now that I am here, I suppose I can say I am surprised how popular stupidity can become. Not that stupidity is itself wrong. But to see stupidity portrayed as such a virtue is a little scary when you consider what culture we set forward for the future generation.
