How many hermit crabs can a 10 gallon aquarium hold?

I have 3 hermit crabs and im wondering if i should get them a new cage

you could place more hermit crabs there.but the number must not exceed 7.you could have up to 7 hermit crab there.

be careful as to not overpopulate the aquarium.like all animals,they need free space.

but the benefit of it is that with many hermit crabs,if ever one cannot fit anymore with its shell,it could change shells with

another hermit crab!

you should have 10 tiny hermys 3 medium size and 2 large or mix it up
