How many high school students enjoy reading Shakespeare?

if you are a high school student or read Shakespeare in high school please state weather you enjoyed it or not.

I only liked a few plays.

Yes and no.

It can get monotonous in the classroom when every minute detail is picked through.

But at the same time, the language is so beautiful!

(And often makes better sense when a teacher can explain it)

The language confuses me too much lol

however I'm currently reading Julius Caesar for my English class and, although it's hard to understand, it's pretty interesting. So mostly no, a little yes.

As a teacher, I'd say about 80% of my classes enjoyed the stories themselves, but only about 25% liked working through the language.  Most consider it too hard and don't put much effort into "translating" it.  They'd rather just read a Shakespeare made easy book to get the story.
