You have to go after another category so Yahoo will start fixing this problem. My suggestion is to ask Hockey questions in the Football [american] category. It will get their attention. I asked one question there a while ago. WOW.

About 25. Five will just go to the AT&T world headquarters and protest that they change their name to something that doesn't have the "&" symbol in it (because all questions with "&" go to the hockey section). They can accomplish this by chaining themselves to benches/lightpoles near the AT&T building and threatening to starve themselves. After a couple weeks, I'm pretty sure AT&T will give in and change their name to ATandT.

Now, as for the questions with "<" or ">" which also automatically land here, we simply need the other 20 fans to have some mathematics knowledge. They will go visit high schools and universities across the nation in order to thoroughly educate students on inequalities and functions of inequalities (basically the problems that involve "<" or ">") until the students know them so well that they don't need to ask how to solve them on Y!A.

Voilà! Problem solved. Do I get some kind of reward now? I mean come on, even Danny Ocean couldn't come up with a plan as badass as this, lol.

everyone!      btw: its getting really annoying.. i wont even visit the hockey section anymore... and the only reason i got a YA account was to talk about hockey! its getting ridiculous!!!!!

Obviously not enough, cause i've seen plenty of complaints on the forum about the problem. It's like the people are just brushing it off like it's nothing.

It also still seems as though nobody is reporting the questions... that would probably help. Just reporting the questions in the hockey section that don't belong may even clog up the site and cause them to actually HAVE to fix it.

I think every time a non hockey question comes up in the hockey section instead of ....jumping the asker with verbal assaults ( which I enjoy myself)....we report abuse for every sinleg one.
