but as radar pointed out are you talking about TB"s or harness or combined?

unless your Australian and follow racing, you probably wont ever here about most Australian tracks as there is alot of provincial and country tracks that don't hold TAB meetings (race meetings that you can only bet on course) so they don't get any publicity!

this is a good question and i cant find an exact answer for you, the best answer i can find for you is 379 racecourses, but that is a statistic from 2002/2003, sorry i couldn't find a more up to date figure for you but it is probably still close to that figure.

Well the MELBOURNE Flemington is the major one

They may have others that are not as big,, more like fair tracks ?
