  1. I would be surprised if there was not 182 hospitals just in each province.

I checked the site provided by the other responder and it clearly is missing a number of hospitals from its list. I am in the Montreal Quebec area, and they only mentioned a few hospitals. Here are some they missed:

    - Santa Cabrini Hospital

    - Cite de la Sante

    - Hopital Charles-Lemoyne

    - Verdun General Hospital

    - Lakeshore General Hospital

    - Hopital St. Eustache

    - Hopital Sacre-Coeur

    - Hopital St. Jerome

I could go on and on. Any city over about 30,000 people here in Canada will have its own hospital, or has the services of a regional one nearby.

There are websites on the internet that can direct you to a nearby hospital. Even Google allows me to put in "hospital" as a business type and finds the ones closest to me.

  2. You're joking, right?  That's like asking how many hospitals there are in the US...

I checked the site of the first responder, too, and it's not a list of hospitals, it's a list of health regions.  Each region has a bunch of hospitals.  And it's missing whole health regions....

  3. 182

Ok I am wrong.. well, I tried. I did think that was a low number, but there is a lot of Canada that isn't very populated....
