How many hotel rooms does a single maid clean a day?

If you were to own a motel / hotel, what is the ratio of housekeeping employees to rooms?

Depends on the number of rooms that are stayovers and the number of rooms that are check-outs.  At a hotel will 300+ rooms each room attendant may have between 20-30 rooms, but only a certain number of those rooms are check-outs.  When an executive housekeeper is breaking out rooms for the mornings he/she considers how many guests are going to ask not to be disturbed, how many will be staying over, and how many may be early-outs.  It's not an exact science.
