  1. my son slept slept and only slept for 2 months.

  2. me time is a no no right now lol unless your mother or boyfriend can watch him. i get me time once o r2 times a week. but that didnt happen till like he was 3 4 months old. lol

  3. have you tried swaddling him.if you haven't then try this get a cot sheet and fold into a triangle place him in the middle of it with his head out of the sheet, pull one corner around him and tuck under his bum do the same with the other side.you will be holding a snug little bundle.lay him down like this and he should feel quite contented and sleep a bit better for you.do this at night time after his bath,it worked for all 4 of mine.

  4. Sorry but this is quite normal. "Me Time" doesn't exist for new Moms did nobody tell you lol?

I don't know if its boys or what but my boy only slept for for a short while during the daytime, say 2 or 3 one hour naps and never regular, you could never plan around him. He slept OK at night say 9pm - 6am but woke for a night feed at around 4am till he was 6 months old and was always an early riser, I was lucky to get 7am lie in.

    Now he's 15 I can't get the lazy **** out of bed !

  5. some babies just dont sleep that much and  about your me time there is not going to be any for a while but just ask your mom or boyfriend to take care of him for a couple hours and  in that time take a bath

  6. Some babies are different. My best friends baby slept all the time and she always had her house immaculate and could go out and leave the baby with a sitter and all the baby would do is cry when she wanted food every couple of hours... she was lucky.. my baby sleeps at certain times and then at night is up until 2 or 3 am. It drives me nuts but i prepare by taking my nap and shower and doing the housework before 11 o clock rolls around, lol. Anyway, like everyone else has said, get a sitter to watch him, it may be hard if you are breastfeeding because you are always on duty with breastfed babies but just pump some milk so you can have some time for yourself. Its best to recharge and get some energy back every so often...

  7. some babies sleep a lot, some babies don't - there's no hard and fast rule.

if you're really that desperate ( and you sound it!) ask a friend, family member or even pay a babysitter just to give 1 or 2 hours of me time.  it's very important to recharge your batteries, so you can be the best parent for your baby.

    good luck!

  8. Get the Contented Little Baby book by Gina Ford.  It is fantastic.

  9. some newborns sleep as much as 20 hours a day, others less, it really all depends on your baby, after 7 weeks has your baby set any patterns yet? Can you have a relative or other family member sit with your baby so you can bathe, eat, and at least get a nap, occasionally, And when your baby is a little older most churches have what is called "parents day out", where you donate time to sit with other babies and children at the church, and then when you need time someone else gives time and you can have a day off.

  10. my 2 month old boy sleeps around 5 hours a day but there is no set time, let him sleep if he wants to, he's growing!

Why not buy a bouncing baby chair and put him in that why you have a bath?
