  1. dont think of it as how many hours a week. just study till you understand what you need to.

  2. The requirement differs by state.

  3. I'm in Texas.

No where in the laws does it say how many hours homeschoolers have to work.

You are said to be in a private school, so it doesn't matter.

    From HSLDA :

    Option: 1

    Legal Option:

Establish and operate a home school as a private school

    Attendance:

    None

    Subjects:

Reading, spelling, grammar, math, good citizenship

    Qualifications:

    None

    Notice:

    None

    Recordkeeping:

    None

    Testing:

    None

  4. If your homeschooled, there really isn't any limit to how long or short you can study for. I am home schooled and I work for about 2 hours every day. Some people might not agree with that but some people leave school because they do not agree with the schools rules :)

  5. Yes,there is,about 4 days a week and 2 hours evryday.

  6. Texas has no requirements whatsoever! They don't check up on you, you don't submit something...

  7. I don't live in Tx so I don't know the laws, but I do know that home education should not be compared to public school education. You learn at your own pace in home education, not by the hour. And your lesson plans are conformed to your learning style, because, contrary to the public school view, everyone is different.

  8. We are required to do the equivilent of 4.5 hours per day for 180 days a year.
