  1. It doesn't matter.  If you have the talent, then you have it.  If you don't, then forget it.

There may be a few that are just barely on the cusp of being good enough for the NHL and maybe hard work may get them in the door, but without the talent as your foundation, no amount of practice will get you to the NHL.

  2. more than 40 hrs

  3. depends how good u are

  4. You can practice all you want, but if you don't have it, you just don't have it.

  5. Start from when you are young...practice every day, and pray for the God-given talent and luck.

  6. Ok who here wants to hear a childhood story about Teal Town USA!?

When I was a teenager I really wanted to make it into the NHL. I practiced for 2-3 hours a day and this is what I'd do.

    1. Practice breakaways

    2. Shooting from anywhere

    3. Work on backhanded shots (A lot is key)

    4. Skating in circles forwards and backwards

    5. I would skate 2 miles per day around my block.

    6. Work on shooting the puck at the posts

You should work around 2-6 hours a day since you were no older than 10. Make sure it's ice, not roller (experience). Do it 5-7 days a week. Maybe 4 days a week. BE CONSISTANT!

  7. Most NHLers arent trained necessarily tll teenage years, their not like amercans who have personal trains and what not, and focus on conditioning for house league(this is just what ive seen),  they just play because they love the game when their little, sure travel hockey is cometetive, but mostly work on your skill, once youve grown then go for bulk, when i was growing up, i would get out of school, get my gear and hit the ice, it was great.  And kids really developed their skill, there arent really drills yo should be doing, just play and watch, youll learn more from that than any coach can teach,.
