How many hours can a Highschool student work during summer?(California)?

i know that during the regular school year you can only work 4 hours a day but what about summer? im currently 15 and will be 16 in 3 months and just wondering as i'm getting a job soon.

This is for California, San Diego

40 hrs a week, 8hrs a day if you are 15 when working if you are 16 then 48 hrs a week, 8 hrs a day.
