How many hours can a full-time student work per week in Ontario?

Question

Can they work full-time in an evening shift of 3-11? Is there a limit of 20 hrs [parttime]? I remember reading something about it, but I was sure it was only for working during school hours.

I know full time students in Ontario who also work full time jobs - 35 - 40 hours a week.  I don't know if they are officially supposed to do that.  I do know what you mean - are you really asking about maintaining full time student status while also working full time?  I am not sure if there is any regulation to prevent a full time student from working full time.  I would ask at a student affairs office or a counselling office at your school.  Most likely someone there will know the correct answer to your question, as well as any implications for you.  Best of luck with your plans.

I'm not really sure, but my brother works 20 hours per week, and he's a student. lol, sorry if this doesn't really answer your question... but hey, it's better than the first answer.
