  1. It varies according to the golfer. Yahoo sports today has an article about Vijay hitting 6 hours of balls a day. Some like John Daly spend approx 8pm - 2am practicing, the only problem is that his practice "shots" consist of beer and tequila

  2. PGA do not practice. that stands for Professional Golfers Association. Hours spent practicing differ from player to player. Most will concentrate on those shots which they felt were not as good or crisp during the round just finished . They will spend more time on the putting green and short game practice  The normal time ranges from 45 minutes to 2 hours. The time one spends practicing is of no value if it doesn't focus on the weakness of the game and the cure of that weakness.Too many just get to the practice range and bang balls which is an absolute waste of time.

  3. 4 hours a day beucase 4 times a weeke they play and then they practise after to improve their game

  4. 2 hours a day

  5. eHow Sports and Fitness recommends committing to 2 hours a day practice - and you will be practicing like PGA Tour players, but... to plan on spending four to five hours per day working on your game when you are not playing in a tournament.

They say: "Practicing like a PGA touring pro requires commitment, time and a variety of resources. While there is no "one way" to practice, the routines of most professionals do share some common features."

There are 7 steps in the resource URL - Great tips.

Good luck. Maybe we will see you on TV one day.  ;-)

  6. well, this is by tiger woods... there's 6 hours for short game... that's compulsory... and there's few hours for long game including the mechanical side... he workout twice a day and that's basically it... so probably around 10 hours on golf?
