in the real academy? well wen my dad was in the academy he worked from 7-7 and im only 14 but im gonna be morking rom 8 or 9-5 i think. (jr academy)

Depends on the state you are in. In California the Academy is 660 hours of training.

Every academy is different.  Mine was scheduled for a 10 hour day, but that didn't include being there early to make sure everyone looked decent enough for inspection, or doing extra PT when someone screwed up.....
