  1. You can get a job working part or full time. You could work anywhere from 8 hours per two weeks to 80 hours per two weeks. You apply for a job that has how many hours you want to work.

  3. 36-40 per week if they are full time. Just like any other position. They can work Overtime as well

  4. don't forget about being on call! For most OR's, at least the one I'm in, you are required to have a 30 minute response time (from answering the pager to arriving in the OR). Some departments offer 8 hour, 10 hour and 12 hour shifts. Some offer part-time hours, it really varies. But being on-call is a given.
