How many hours early should a pro baseball player arrive at the ballpark?

  1. They are there hella early. At LEAST 4 hours before a game starts the players should be there if anything, chilling in the club house.


  2. why? and maybe like 1:30....I do not really understand.

  3. They should be there a half hour before the deadline that the coach sets. This gives them a 30 minute buffer in case they get stuck in traffic.

  4. 2, and give himself time to sober up a bit after bar hopping! like mickey mantle did! and babe ruth!

  5. big leaguers usually arrive about three hours before a game, but some go earlier if they want extra batting or fielding practice. And some get there even earlier if they're on the road and bored. And yes, some (a few) arrive at the last minute, but not too many of them. It all depends on the individual.
