it will take you:

4 hours by train (you have to book before for the Pendolino, eurostar di trenitalia)

a little bit more than an hour by airplane (from Malpensa to Fiumicino)

and more or less 6 hour by car driving on the "autostrada del sole"

trust me, i've made it just a couple of months ago by train and the trip was confortable and quick....but i'm italian so it may be different! enjoy Italy!
