How many hours is the average Mcdonalds shift ?

I'm just wondering how long a shift is at Mcdonalds as I start on Wednesday at 9am, but I dont know what time I finish. Thanks

depends on your age ... if your under 18 you can't work more than 5-6 hours a day (i think ) it depends on your laws in the state you live. or if you're over 18 then plan on working 7-8 hours a day. but if you're just starting.... its most likely just training and they'll keep you for 3-4 hours and send you home. good luck and have fun!

This is something you should of found out when you applied for the job/got hired.  If you don't know you should ask what time you get off work when you go in at 9am Wednesday. Or, call in and ask ahead of time.  Any person working should know what time they start and finish.  Are you going to work a 4 hour shift, split shift, or full time?  To me this is a rather silly question.

It depends on your availability. If you've listed yourself as available for 16 hours a week or less, you'll most likely get a four or five hour shift. The more your availability the longer your shifts because you'll be getting more hours per shift.

It varies.  When I worked there I would be there 4 hours sometimes, and up to 12 hours sometimes.  I got a lot of overtime in the summer there.
