the average life of a 2-stroke jetski is a bout 300 hours depending on how good you take care of it.  A good place to research this is   PWC forum.        Hope that helps

Really PWC's (Jet Ski's are Kawasakis) are made to run. It is non-use and improper maintanence that hurts them.

With any used machine (PWC,car, tractor, etc.) you should perform a thorough inspection if you are capable. If you are not capable, have a mechanic check it. At the least a used PWC should be test ridden, have a compression check, and a visual inspection of the jet pump.

I own some skis that are 20 years old, and in better shape than many!

When you get around 150-200 you should get tune ups and tests on it
