How many hours of driving should I have?

I have already failed the driving test once because I got so nervous on the parallel parking. I really need to pass it before the summer is up because I have no other way to get to my college. However, there is no one to teach me so I have to sign up with a driving school. The thing is they charge $35 per hour lesson! I don't have much money. How many hours should I sign up for? Before I took the test the first time I had about 5 hours of driving (couldn't afford anymore).
