Question:

How many hours of exorcise would burn off this....?

im 15, 5ft 6 and i weigh 8st 10lbs. In the morning i eat 3/4 slices of toast, in the after noon i eat a chicen sandwitch with a packet of crisp and then at night probably a chip butty, well how much exorcise would i need to burn that all off, and would all that food be enough calories for the day. I do weights in quite alot but i dont seem to be reconising any results, im mainly focuing on the chest area and ive been doin constant pushups so i was wondering if this is occuring due to my foods im eating. Thanks for the help :)

  1. Your diet is not good at all!!! You want to build lean muscle right?

    1. You should be eating a lot more protein (and food) in general.

    2. At breakfast (have a couple slices of toast and eggs, or cereal, fruit and a protein shake). As much carbs as you want.

    3. Lunch is ok, but no need to eat crisps.

    4. Dinner is very important (especially after a work out). A chip butty is in fact exactly what you should NOT be eating at dinner! If you want to build muscle your body needs protein. You should eat a high protein (lean means such as chicken, tuna, salmon ideally) low carb (certainly have carbs but not mountains) dinner.  

    5. After every work out drink a pint of milk or have a protein shake.

    6. You are only 15 so you should be eating a lot, like 4 decent meals a day. You cant build muscle with out eating a lot of food in general - protein, veg, carbs alike. Start eating large amounts of health food!

    7. Start off with these 3 core exercises - Bench press, Dead lift and Squats. Every thing else will come, fill out those exercises with others such as pull ups, chest dips, pull over etc. It will take about 3 months of 3 or 4 times a week before you see a difference. If you play sports all the better. Swimming regularly is a good way to tone up.

    8. Finally, be careful you don't stunt your growth as you are young. I don't know anything about it, but ive heard it can happen.

    (9. if you are trying to lose weight the same rules apply. protein, veg and low carbs. Just eat less of everything, especially in the evening. Ideal dinner would be salmon and veg for example. Do cardio based exercise three times a week).

    Enjoy. Get in the habit of a healthy protein based diet and the gym/exercise 4 times a week, and you will have a happy and healthy life.


  2. well probably your are no seeing results because you are not eating enough protein. you should eat more often 5 to 6  meals  a day 2 to 3 hours spread apart
