How many hours of music on a 2GB mp3 player?

looking to use for audiobooks, so songs per is not what i want. simply how many hours of info does it hold?

  1. Well, a 2gb mp3 holds about 500 hundred songs at 4 minutes a piece. Assuming that, I'd say around 2000 minutes, as long as my math is correct.  


  2. I get about 60mgs per hour.  2000mgs = 2GB, so about 2000 minutes which is about 33 hours.  Depends on density of information.  So you should be able to get a few books on your player.  You manual might have better information than this.

  3. it can hold 1500-2000 hours of music or audiobooks (depending on the size and compression)

    your battery wont last longer than 12 hours (lol)

    i used to have a SONY mp3 player that compresses your songs to attrac3plus and i couldve put more twice as more songs than on a normal mp player

    idk if sony still makes mp3 players with attrac3plus (i think its the way its spelled) compression  

  4. Well, at the moment I have 341 songs that is  21.50 hours that is 1.21 gb. So I would think 23-25 hours, maybe a little more.
