subwoofers aren't made to break. they will last for years and years if you take care of them. dont feed them clipped signals and dont over power them. if you dont let them get too hot (by clipping them and overpowering them) they will easily last for years and years no matter how often you use them. you could play subwoofers continuously for years without ever turning them off, and if you don't exceed their limits they wont blow on you.

To much false info in this mutha f#%$a. Listen kidd any thing electronic or mechanical Has what are called life cycles. For instance.A power on off buttons life cycle may be 100,000 That means the switch can be turned on and off 100,000 times before it goes bad. Same with subwoofers surround,spider(the suspension of the sub woofer) Only the manufacturer will know the life cycles thats how they can judge how long there products will last until they "rape" you for another one thats why things are made so cheap.Example why do manufactures offer one year warranties instead of 10 year its so they can sell you a new one after they tell you the cost to fix your broken one will cost more then new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
