IF. IF. Lets say I have 700 songs already. With the remaining memory, how many hours/minutes of video can this iPod hold?

  1. That's not possible to answer. # of songs ≠ occupied space on drive. Nor is hours of video = amount of space required. Both depend on the type of encoding and the quality of the encoding. A 64 kbps MP3 will occupy far less space than a 256 Kbps one, but the song will still be the same length (the first one will sound like ***, though).

  2. This question really depends on how long your songs are and if you already have videos. But I believe a 2 hour video takes up 700 mb, but if you shrink it down to about 500 mb for the ipod then it should be 16 hours of video left. But I am no math whiz :p but thats if you just have 8 gigabytes left. So with your 700 songs already and each song is 5 megabytes and rounding up, I would say you have 3 gigs of space left so maybe six hours tops. if any of that made sense :p
