John McCain was lucky enough to marry a very wealthy woman.  Even so, John McCain has continued to work in service to his country.

I imagine that he is busy enough reading proposals and researching issues that he doeasn't take the time to visit his wife's many homes.  Furthermore, if they are not important to him, I don't doubt that he does not remember them.  I would be more concerned if he knew each house intimately.

I supported Hillary Clinton in in her campaign.  I find that John McCain is more like Hillary than Obama.  McCain has a long, proven record of crossing the aisle, fighting pork barrel spending and serving his country not for his benefit (which you have pointed out he does not need), but for the benefit of others.

I find that the actions of the DNC this year have been self-serving.  I, a life long Dem will vote not only for McCain, but I will vote a straight GOP ticket in an attempt to oust Pelosie and keep Obama from the White House.

I hope that the White House becomes McCain's eighth home!

After all of the complaining about Sarah Palin, for some reason, I feel relieved to see a dumb question about the houses that McCain owns.

Just like old times! (aka, a few weeks ago)

He owns seven but they're most likely technically more of Cindy's houses than his.

Seven houses.  This is why, when the issue of the economy came up, Barack Obama said in his acceptance speech:  "it's not that John McCain doesn't care, it's just that he doesn't know..."
