Do your research!  Mrs. McCain has 6 and John has one that he purchased in Arizona.  Mrs. McCain is rich in her own right and those are hers - some are rentals, etc.  Why would he be expected to know about her finances when he has a lot more important things to deal with?

I don;t know. McCain is getting with his people. Arizona is a common law State so McCain's wife cannot have property separate from her husband. Yes there was a prenup. It does not mean a thing until there is a divorce.

They keep the houses in the company name because if they took the money out of the brewery they would have to pay taxes on the income.

Hopefully a lot, his wifes dad busted tail and built a hugely successful beer distributor in Arizona.  I sure as heckfire hope they enjoy the wealth they've created rather than letting the welfare state siphon it off.
