How many houses would a real esate agent sell in one year?

How does it work when some areas are worth more then others that means real estate agents get paid differently. House prices range from 300- 600k in the area I live. I'm in my late teens but I would like to be a real estate agent i the future in the area I live in. Any advice would be appreciated thanks
