A friend of mine asked me: What will you feel when you killed another person? I answered: Depends on statistics. Then I realized, I have no idea on what fraction of people living today have actually killed.

Please say your sources.

  2. Here's some quick stats I found:

But I think it is worth stating that every human being is born with the ability to kill.  It is a survival mechanism that has been carefully evolved through natural selection.  Many in modernized countries refrain from doing so because of the high risk of being caught and the ensuing consequences.

Think about it... those that killed were more likely to survive and reproduce than those that were passive.  For example purposes, imagine there were 10 original humans.  5 of them were violent and aggressive and 5 were passive and non-aggressive.  Who do you think is going to have more children?  Who is going to pass the most genes onto the next generation?  Remember you must think of this from the perspective of prehistoric hunter gatherer societies.

The book to read is "Murderer Next Door" by Dr. David Buss

  3. Why would what you would feel if you killed someone depend on statistics? Are you a robot?

  4. if you are in war, you have to kill your enemies. If you live in the society, you can't do it. You may do it with self defend. It is hard to say.

  5. idkk but not mee

  6. i believe that it hurts our spirits to shame God and kill his children.

  7. How about Viet Nam and '66 and '67 two tours in the Northern highlands with the Hmong, Rangers instructor. Two years under fire, wounded twice. I don't think much about it anymore except to say it was me or them. I just wanted to live and see my wife again. Mans dehumanization of man and his brother. I do pray for forgiveness everyday and have begged my Grandson in Iraq to come home, after three years.
