the largest breed of hummingbird can only beat their wings at 10-15 times a sec (the slowest recorded) the average is 50times a sec although a small species (can't remember the name) was recorded at 80times a sec and that is the fastest recorded.you would have to think  the bee hummingbird (the smallest), would be even faster.it hasn't been recorded yet though
