how many inches dies your hair grow in a month and how long does it take to grow your hair six inches longer than it already is?

I see a lot of people talk about growing out their hair and wondering how long it'll take to do so but these people are usually the ones who don't take care of their hair well (too much heat tools, not enough TLC) and they don't realize that while their hair is growing their weak ends are breaking off so it might seem like it takes forever for your hair to grow.

When you take good care of your hair it'll seem like it's growing faster (because you aren't getting breakage). Don't wash your hair more than every other day, massage your scalp often (it stimulates hair growth), and if you use heat tools be sure to at least use some form of heat protectant for your hair (and only use heat tools a few times a week).. and last, and unfortunately the worse, you should go to a salon and have all your dead ends cut off because they can continue to split higher.
