Question:

How many incidents does an aeroplane have in half a year?

I mean, I asked myself the question as I was reading an article about singapore airlines only A380, who had 2 incidents in some 3 months (and of course, as this is such a new plane, every incident is in the press). So, if we look at an Delta B767, do they also have such lot incidents (although we would not read it in the press, because it's old and not really special)?

  2. Our 727 had zero incidents in nearly five years of operation. Maybe you should not draw conclusions from the "press". You realize they are there to entertain you, not inform you right?

  3. The best place to find unbiased information about aviation safety is the NTSB website (See Below).  You can view by month/year or search on specific information such as aircraft type for a period.  Most minor incidents and major accidents are blown out of proportion by the media.
