How many infant car seats in an SUV/Van?

Heyy guys, so my aunts coming down to Ontario from BC with her quadruplets [they're soo cute]. We're planning on taking a trip from toronto to ottawa to visit some other family when they get here. We're still in the process of trying to figure out how to get everyone into the vehicle and what not safetly and not violating any laws.

Can 3 infant car seats fit in the back 3rd row bench of an SUV or Van? with the other infant car seat in one of the bucket seats/2nd row mom in the 2nd row to. the father driver and another adult in the front passenger seat?

I've heard its possible. is it? is it safe? is it legal?

**we can't take both because...

1) only father has a drivers liscence

2) i only have my G1 and cannot dive without someone who's had their full G liscence for over 4 years and cannot drive on Highways which is what we'll be taking to Ottawa

SUV is a GMC Yukon XL and the Van is a Pontiac Montana [07] if that helps at all, idk

If the vehical seats 8 then you can have 6 infant seats.  As long as they all are belted in and have their own seat, and no kids are in the front!

Sometimes three carseats will fit across one bench seat, however it depends a lot on the seats and the car(van whatever).  As long as they can be safely installed then it is legal.

I have a GMC yukon and you can fit 2 in the back (3rd row) 2 in regular back seat with space in between each for a person only person in 3rd row won't have seat belt

It would depend on the width of the infant carseat.  As long as there is a seat belt for each carseat... it's legal.
